About an hour and a half from Lafayette, CM Farms is worth the road trip. With over 40 attractions, from a pumpkin patch and corn maze to pig races and a giant slide,  it’s the perfect all-day adventure.

🌻 Parc de Oaks – Lafayette, LA

They’re celebrating another year of fall fun! Enjoy food trucks, photo ops, pumpkins, games, and face painting; it's the perfect blend of local charm and family festivity.

🌽 Poché’s Patch & Maze – Lafayette, LA

Celebrate the season with a giant corn maze, book walk, jungle bus, selfie stations, obstacle courses, culvert slides, family games, and of course, pumpkins everywhere!  New this year: a treehouse and updates to Candy Corn Village!
🎯 Pro Tip: No scary costumes or spooky face paint — this one’s for family-friendly fun.

🎭 Autumn in the Oaks – Moncus Park, Lafayette

A fall-themed celebration with trick-or-treating, kids’ crafts, live music, food trucks, and hayrides.
🎯 Insider Note: There’s a $10 on-site parking fee that supports the park’s operations

🍬 Boo at the Zoo – Zoosiana, Broussard

Safe, festive, and full of candy (the holy trinity of kid joy). Boo at the Zoo runs all October long with daily activities, scavenger hunts, candy giveaways, photo ops, and weekend-only “Treat & Greet” stations.

🧙‍♀️ Fright Trail – Lafayette

For the brave-hearted Halloweeners! This haunted outdoor attraction mixes spooky Louisiana woods with special effects and plenty of frightful fun.

✅ Things to Do:

• Dress in layers: cool mornings, warm afternoons.

• Bring cash for small farm vendors or food stands.

• Pack wipes, snacks, and maybe an extra outfit for little ones.

• Snap photos early for that perfect golden-hour glow.

• Weekend crowds...prepare for wait time and lines

• Mosquitoes...we're in Louisiana, after all (bring bug spray).
